Íchnos is a subterranean residence located above the beach of Ganema. The building’s form is derived from a combination of the site’s morphology and the uninterrupted views to the West and the beach below.

Using the landscape’s slope, three distinct volumes are formed in ascending levels from the North to the South, separating the private and common areas of the home. In the main façade of the building, the transition between each level and zone of the home is apparent with the alternating façade and the set-backed green pockets which also allow for extra sunlight and ventilation of the spaces.
